Welcome! Becca here. Substack sucks, so now I'm using Ghost.io - I'm hoping it will be a more permanent home for this warm/smart/yummy corner of the internet. I've transferred you over automatically, but if a millionth newsletter no longer serves you, I understand. PS: Now it's called Becca's Newsletter (working title).
✨BOOK TOUR✨
Come hang out, y'all!

Virtual: A is For Book Club 3/5 6:00-7:00pmCT

The Feminist Book Club podcast:

And Shout Your Abortion's Abortion Academy:
And: tap below to listen to me read a section from the audiobook. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to read my own book - my voice is just a download away when you're having a hard time in the clinic/could use extra reassurance/just need to pass the time!
✨NEWS(ish)✨
Things big & small
Texas Tech University - specifically the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - canceled a planned lecture by Dr. Shelley Sella (author of Beyond Limits: Stories of Third-Trimester Abortion Care) on abortion care later in pregnancy and they need to answer for it, y’all. Dr. Sella is the first woman to openly practice third trimester abortion care in the US. Her teaching is a gift, and students deserve to learn. Including the Medical Students for Choice chapter, a recognized student organization, that invited her. This is shameful and unacceptable. We don't have to put up with it. Read more here.
